Megan By Mary Hooper

Are you a teen? Imagine what it would be like to be pregnant!

In Megan by Mary Hooper, Megan finds out that she is pregnant at 15. She was already five months gone before she found out. Megan didn’t know what to do; she told her best friend and eventually told her ex-boyfriend and mother. Her mum insists that she has the baby adopted but Megan has other plans. Megan is a determined girl who is trying to complete her A-grades but with this bump in the road she has to go to a special school just for people who are/ were pregnant. Megan is mainly set at her house, aunt’s house and the two schools she went to.

Megan is a wonderful book that you just can’t put down. I read this book in two nights and I’m not a reader! Megan teaches you about the struggle of being a teen and being pregnant.  I enjoyed Megan because you never know what to expect. Megan is a very independent character, she wants to keep the baby but her mother has other plans.  I recommend Megan to teen’s who like to read about things that can really happen.
