Megan by Mary Hooper

How would you feel if you got pregnant and was losing what you thought was a great life, all at the age of 15? 

This novel is called Megan by Mary Hooper. Megan is about a 15 year old girl that one day unexpectedly she finds out that she is pregnant with her ex-boyfriend Luke. The setting changes throughout this novel; some of the places are home, her school, her Aunty's house and her Personal Development class. 

The theme of the book is mainly on about a 15 year old girl getting pregnant with her ex boyfriend and her experience with having a baby. In a personal Development lesson her teacher tells the class: “Of course, it is possible to be pregnant and still have periods”. This quote, is one of the main quotes that megan thinks of throughout the beginning of the book

My opinion about the book is that was really addictive. I woke up one morning from reading it the previous night and I didn’t put the book down until I was finished. This book was really interesting as it shows that girls are growing up too fast, under peer pressure. It shows that a normal 15 year old girls life can turn upside down in one thing she does.I recommend this book for girls from the age of 12 and above.
